Border in a box

Border 2 : Shrubs - £83 for one of each of over a dozen varieties plus instructions (see listing on the right of this page). For two of each variety, order two boxes, and so on. For additional single plants go to the site map and click on shrubs.

These shrubs have been chosen to provide a good display and year round interest in the garden. One of each variety will be enough for a bed 4.5 to 5 square metres in area.

Please note: we reserve the right to substitute a similar rose or shrub if necessary. Any substitution will be chosen to blend in perfectly with our original selection.

Remember, you only pay one delivery charge of £4.95 per order, so by ordering several boxes at once you save money! PLUS we will include a free plant if you order two boxes or more.

Berberis thunbergii Atropurpurea - Reddish-purple leaves turning bright red in autumn
Buddleja alternifolia - Graceful weeping branches with narrow grey-green leaves on slender shoots bearing neat purple fragrant flower clusters.
Caryopteris x clandonensis Heavenly Blue - Dense clusters of deep blue flowers, the deepest of its species, and lance-shaped grey-green leaves
Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens - Racemes of blue flowers in late spring to early sumer. Small glossy evergreen leaves.
Choisya ternata Sundance - Scented white star-shaped flower clusters in late spring and summer with bright yellow aromatic glossy foliage
Cistus Grayswood Pink (Barnsley Pink) - Clear pink flowers and mat-forming grey foliage
Corylus maxima Purpurea - Large round deep purple leaves. Purplish catkins with yellow anthers on bare branches in February
Elaeagnus x ebbingei Gilt Edge - Glossy dark evergreen leaves which are broadly margined yellow
Erica carnea Springwood Pink - Bright pink flowers February-April, with mid green foliage
Euonymus fortunei Emerald 'n' Gold - Dense evergreen shrub with green and gold edged leaves red tinged during winter.
Fuschia Alice Hoffman - Purple tinged leaves densely clustered on reddish stems, and small red and white flowers.
Hebe Red Edge - Short white flower spikes above glaucous grey-green leaves which have a thin red margin. Leaves turn deep red in winter.
Abelia Edward Goucher - Leaves are glossy dark green, bronze when young. Lilac-pink trumpet shaped flowers summer to autumn.
